The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on older persons - as on one of the most vulnerable groups - has been dramatic. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the measures and regulations implemented by the government of the country to prevent the spread of the infection among older persons, on the one hand, and to study the impact of COVID-19 on the senior citizens of Georgia, including older persons living in long term care facilities.
