The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) aims to expand its partnerships with organizations dedicated to implementing family-friendly policies and advancing gender equality in Georgia.

On June 6, UNFPA Georgia Country Office joined forces with New Vision Insurance by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed by Mariam Bandzeladze, Head of UNFPA Georgia CO, and Giorgi Kevlishvili, Medical Director of New Vision Insurance.

Through this MoU, UNFPA and New Vision Insurance will collaborate to introduce gender-responsive and family-friendly workplace policies. The objective is to ensure women's economic participation and empowerment, facilitate their full potential in the labor market, and promote responsible parenting.

Additionally, New Vision Insurance commits to supporting the MenCare campaign, initiated by UNFPA Georgia CO in 2016. This campaign aims to increase men's involvement as caring and equal partners and fathers, thus contributing to the achievement of gender equality.
