The first time Georgia celebrates Father’s Day was in June 19, 2016. The initiative of celebration came from the UNFPA Georgia office and a local organisation We Care.

The event dedicated to father’s day was held in Tbilisi’s largest shopping mall East Point where fathers and children were invited for fun and entertainment. Children and fathers had a chance to attend shows with animators, take pictures in front of a special banner and get lots of colorful balloons.
