International Conference for Population Development and Millennium
Development Goals (MDGs): Results and Priorities in Georgia
On October 24, 2012, the United National Population Fund in Georgia and the Tbilisi National Youth Palace’s Youth International Relations Department, held Annual Youth Conference on the topics of International Conference for Population Development and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs): Results and Priorities in Georgia.
Within the framework of the conference, the themes and topics have been prepared and presented by high school students, who presented the results and findings of the International Conference for Populations Development (ICPD) Programme of Action and addressed the important aspects of the MDG; Reproductive Health and Rights, Gender Equality and Youth Health and Development.
At the end of the event the participants signed the youth ICPD declaration, which was developed by youth in Tbilisi National Youth Palace’s Youth International Relations Department. In the closing ceremony, Ms. Khomasuridze awarded the participants with certificates and informational kits.
